Description

You will maintain and support Linux server environments while automating infrastructure and managing containerized workloads.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Oracle Linux, and Ubuntu server environments, including OS installation, configuration, and patch management.
• Administer and automate infrastructure using Ansible for configuration management and Red Hat Satellite Server for provisioning.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker containers and Kubernetes across cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Perform system performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting for CPU, memory, disk, and network utilization.
• Collaborate with InfoSec to apply security policies, harden systems, and remediate vulnerabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Linux administration (RHEL, Oracle Linux, Ubuntu).
• Proficiency in configuration management using Ansible.
• Experience deploying and managing containers with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure, Oracle OCI, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Red Hat Satellite Server for system provisioning and patch management.
• Knowledge of identity and access control using Red Hat Identity Management (IDM).
• Familiarity with CI/CD integration for container workloads and microservices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience administering Oracle SPARC server environments.
• Ability to collaborate with Oracle support for advanced root cause analysis.
