Description

You will manage and maintain Linux server environments to ensure high availability and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers using Satellite or CD, including creating golden system images.
• Execute system upgrades, patch management, and security enhancements.
• Automate system tasks and workflows using Ansible playbooks.
• Manage container environments, including setup, deployment, administration, and application migration.
• Troubleshoot server issues, resolve networking problems like bonding and EtherChannels, and document fixes in ServiceNow.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Red Hat Linux.
• Proficiency in Shell Scripting and writing Ansible playbooks.
• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
• Hands-on experience with VMWare.
• Working knowledge of Cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
• Experience with SELinux and FireEye security tools.
• Competency with Git servers and ServiceNow ticketing.
• Ability to manage networking configurations such as bonding and EtherChannels.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with backup and monitoring teams for OS protection and alerting.
