Description

You will manage and maintain Linux-based server environments and storage infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Linux operating systems across various hardware models and virtualized environments.
• Perform system maintenance, including performance tuning, upgrades, and migrations.
• Manage enterprise-class SAN and NAS storage technologies.
• Monitor system health using metrics, log aggregation, and visualization tools.
• Maintain core networking components including subnets, firewalls, and routing.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional systems maintenance experience in Linux operating systems.
• In-depth knowledge of CentOS, RedHat, Oracle Linux, and Ubuntu distributions.
• Hands-on experience with SAN/NAS technologies and logical file systems.
• Proficiency with Unix CLI, debugging tools, and the network stack.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios and Zenoss.
• Working knowledge of core networking, subnetting, firewalls, and routing.
• Experience supporting Linux on diverse hardware makes and models.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Pure and EMC VNX platforms.
• Experience with Cisco UCS blade chassis.
