Description

You will maintain and support critical Linux infrastructure in a 24x7 environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain critical Linux infrastructure within a 3-shift rotation.
• Lead crisis calls and manage critical issues for business-critical services.
• Troubleshoot OS booting problems, filesystem issues, and server performance.
• Manage Veritas Volume Manager and Veritas Cluster setups.
• Work UK business hours including on-call and out-of-office support.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of Linux Administration experience.
• Expert-level knowledge of Unix/Linux infrastructure and troubleshooting.
• Deep understanding of network topologies, TCP/IP, and routing.
• Expertise in RAID levels including RAID-0, RAID-1, RAID-1+0, and RAID-5.
• Advanced troubleshooting experience with Veritas Volume Manager and Veritas Cluster.
• Ability to resolve complex filesystem and OS-level performance issues.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree.
