Description

Build and maintain low-latency infrastructure platforms for a high-frequency trading environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and tune servers to meet strict low-latency Linux standards and application requirements.
• Manage and troubleshoot Veritas Volume Manager and VCS cluster systems to ensure high availability.
• Execute vulnerability patching, firmware deployment for HP ILO and iDRAC, and disaster recovery testing.
• Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) after service restorations and resolve critical production issues.
• Automate repetitive tasks and design testing approaches to improve infrastructure reliability and capacity.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a RedHat Linux System Administrator.
• Proficiency with RedHat Linux 7/8, CoreOS, and OpenShift.
• Experience with Ansible, Python, or Bash for automation scripting.
• Knowledge of Network and Domain Services, including AD and DNS.
• Understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting tools.
• Experience managing Veritas Volume Manager and VCS clusters.
• Ability to use MS Excel, PowerPoint, or Access for analytical tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Willingness to learn internal and vendor purpose-built technologies used in high-frequency trading platforms.
