Description

You will lead the deployment, administration, and L2 support for large-scale Linux environments exceeding 1000 servers. You own the stability, security, and performance of RHEL, SUSE, and Ubuntu platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage L2 support for production Linux environments with over 1000 servers.
• Deploy and administer RHEL 5/6/7, SUSE, Ubuntu, and Oracle Linux.
• Configure and maintain advanced RHEL clustering solutions.
• Deploy Linux VMs using VMware infrastructure.
• Implement and enforce Linux OS security policies and hardening guidelines.
• Lead and mentor the administration team.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with RHEL 5, 6, and 7, including Oracle Linux.
• Advanced knowledge of RHEL clustering configuration and management.
• Hands-on experience with VMware for Linux VM deployment.
• Proven track record supporting environments with 1000+ servers.
• Deep understanding of Linux OS security aspects and policy implementation.
• Leadership and team handling skills for senior responsibilities.
• Experience with SUSE and Ubuntu platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing multi-distro heterogeneous environments.
