Description

You will manage and maintain Linux server infrastructure across various distributions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers across RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, and SUSE.
• Manage physical and virtual Linux environments within VMware.
• Implement user account management, access controls, and sudo policies.
• Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and capacity planning.
• Configure and optimize kernel parameters and system tuning for performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering Linux systems.
• Proficiency with RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, and SUSE.
• Experience managing VMware environments.
• Knowledge of system services and configuration using systemd.
• Ability to configure networking components including VLANs, routing, and firewalls (iptables/nftables).
• Experience managing storage, including LVM, RAID, and NFS/CIFS.
• Familiarity with DNS and DHCP configuration.
• Experience implementing security hardening standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with capacity planning and system tuning.
