Description

You will manage and maintain Linux servers within virtualized environments. You will install, configure, and maintain services including Bind, Apache, MySQL, and nginx. You will build and monitor services directly on production servers. You will manage network configurations using iptables, Linux IPVS, and HAProxy. You will maintain infrastructure components including servers, switches, and firewalls. You will utilize configuration management tools such as Puppet or Chef to manage environments.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux administration.
• Proficiency with Xen virtualization technology.
• Hands-on experience with Bind, Apache, MySQL, and nginx.
• Practical knowledge of iptables, Linux IPVS, and HAProxy.
• Familiarity with Linux scripting languages.
• Understanding of load balancing and firewall configurations.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, including servers and switches.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Puppet or Chef configuration management.
