Description

You will manage and maintain Linux servers in virtualized environments, installing core services and monitoring production infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure core services including Bind, Apache, MySQL, and nginx.
• Manage network configurations using iptables, Linux IPVS, and HAProxy.
• Maintain infrastructure components such as servers, switches, and firewalls.
• Utilize configuration management tools like Puppet or Chef to manage environments.
• Build and monitor services directly on production servers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux administration.
• Proficiency with Xen virtualization technology.
• Hands-on experience with Bind, Apache, MySQL, and nginx.
• Practical knowledge of iptables, Linux IPVS, and HAProxy.
• Familiarity with Linux scripting languages.
• Understanding of load balancing and firewall configurations.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure, including servers and switches.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Puppet or Chef configuration management.
