Description

Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE).

Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.

Handle incident, problem, and change management activities.

Ensure system availability, reliability, and security.

Apply patches and upgrades to operating systems and system components.

Troubleshoot system, network, filesystem, and application issues.

Manage user access, file systems, permissions, and security policies.

Work closely with application, database, network, and cloud teams.

Automate repetitive tasks using shell scripting and Python.

Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.

Required Skills:

Must have 15+ years of experience

Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE) Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure,GCP, Rackspace) VMware/Virtualization technologies Infrastructure security and endpoint management toosl Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (Solarwinds, crowdstrie, Tanium etc) Active directory and enterprise identity management is a plus Scripting/automation using Bash, poweshell, Python, Perl Strong troubleshooting skis across OS, network, application and infrastructure layers
