Description

Manage and maintain Linux server infrastructure across multiple distributions, ensuring high availability and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE).
• Perform system monitoring, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Apply patches and upgrades to operating systems and system components.
• Troubleshoot system, network, filesystem, and application issues.
• Automate repetitive tasks using shell scripting and Python.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in Linux administration (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, SUSE).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, Rackspace).
• Proficiency in VMware and virtualization technologies.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Perl.
• Experience with enterprise monitoring tools (SolarWinds, CrowdStrike, Tanium).
• Knowledge of infrastructure security and endpoint management tools.
• Active Directory and enterprise identity management experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with incident, problem, and change management.
