Description

Administer and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8 & 9) environments, ensuring system stability and performance.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and support RHEL 8 & 9 environments in physical and virtual setups.
• Perform operating system patching, firmware updates, and routine system maintenance.
• Monitor infrastructure health and performance using Prometheus and Grafana.
• Automate administrative tasks using Ansible and shell scripting.
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and operational readiness.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8 & 9).
• Hands-on experience with Linux server administration in physical and virtual environments.
• Proficiency with Prometheus and Grafana for infrastructure monitoring.
• Experience with Ansible and Linux scripting for automation.
• Knowledge of disaster recovery processes and infrastructure support.
• Ability to troubleshoot critical issues and participate in an on-call rotation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with clear technical documentation habits.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale Linux infrastructure with high availability requirements.
• Familiarity with IT operational best practices and infrastructure automation.
