Description

You will build and administer Linux systems from the ground up, handling ongoing environment management and user application configuration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and administer Linux systems from the ground up, including OS installation and configuration.
• Install and manage user applications across the environment.
• Conduct technical research to identify solutions and present findings to stakeholders.
• Implement technical recommendations to improve system direction and performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux administration and system building.
• Proven ability to install and configure operating systems.
• Experience installing and managing user applications.
• Strong research skills with the ability to work with minimal direction.
• Experience presenting technical findings and outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of Apache Spark and Spark User workflows.
