Description

job responsibilities include:

Administer and support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems in production environments.

Manage day‑to‑day Unix/Linux server administration, including system configuration, account management, patching, and lifecycle support for physical and virtual servers.

Ensure platform availability and operational readiness across enterprise infrastructure.

Support monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and patch management in alignment with operational standards.

Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters, including experience with OpenShift or enterprise Kubernetes platforms.

Perform Wintel support activities, including Active Directory administration, user and group management, GPOs, DNS, and DHCP.

Execute planned infrastructure changes related to disaster recovery, data center moves, and capacity management.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

8–10 years of experience in Linux system administration, with strong focus on RHEL in production environments.

Experience with Kubernetes, including cluster deployment and ongoing management.

Hands‑on experience supporting cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Experience implementing server configuration changes, upgrades, performance tuning, and remediation activities.

Strong documentation skills, including maintaining environment, policy, and procedure documentation.

Ability to collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to minimize infrastructure disruptions.

Strong troubleshooting, communication, and operational support skills.
