Description

You will manage the day-to-day administration of Unix/Linux and Wintel server infrastructure, ensuring platform availability and operational readiness.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) production environments, including system configuration, account management, OS maintenance, and lifecycle support for physical and virtual servers.
• Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot OpenShift or enterprise Kubernetes clusters, supporting containerized workloads.
• Perform Wintel support tasks including Active Directory, Group Policy (GPO), DNS, and DHCP administration, alongside capacity management and disaster recovery changes.
• Execute server hardware and software configuration, patching, integration, upgrades, and performance tuning across cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and on-premises environments.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for environment policies, procedures, and projects while collaborating with service providers to minimize service interruptions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience administering RHEL in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux system administration and Red Hat technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or OpenShift deployment and management.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Wintel support experience: Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Ability to perform vulnerability remediation, patching, and capacity management.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MVS System Administration.
