Description

Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) production environments, managing day-to-day server infrastructure, configuration, and lifecycle support for physical and virtual systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform system configuration, account administration, OS maintenance, and patching for RHEL servers.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters, including OpenShift or enterprise distributions.
• Manage Wintel infrastructure, including Active Directory, GPO, DNS, and DHCP.
• Execute DR plans, data center moves, capacity management, and hardware/software upgrades.
• Maintain documentation and collaborate with service providers to minimize service interruptions.

Required Skills

• 6-8 years of experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) in production.
• Strong experience with Unix/Linux server infrastructure and system administration.
• Proficiency in AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms with Linux systems.
• Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, and DHCP.
• Ability to perform vulnerability remediation and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenShift or enterprise Kubernetes distributions.
• Background in managing hybrid physical and virtual server environments.
