Description

You manage and maintain RedHat Linux environments, handling configuration, lifecycle management, and complex troubleshooting across virtualization and storage layers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute Linux administration tasks including configuration, upgrades, migrations, and patching.
• Manage Linux patching workflows using Satellite.
• Develop automation and orchestration workflows using Ansible and Python.
• Maintain source code and configuration files using GitHub or similar version control tools.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across Linux, virtualization, and storage layers.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5+ years of professional experience with RedHat Linux administration.
• Proficiency with Ansible (Playbooks, Tower) for automation.
• Experience with Python and PowerShell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub or similar version control systems.
• Working knowledge of VMware virtualization.
• Understanding of storage and blade technologies integrated with virtualization.
• General knowledge of NAS, SAN, and networking principles.
• Ability to work within Agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with BigFix, RHEV, or Oracle RAC.
