Description

You will manage, maintain, and secure Red Hat Linux environments and servers, ensuring system stability, security, and performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Red Hat Linux operating systems, applying patches and managing upgrades with risk assessment and validation.
• Monitor system performance to identify bottlenecks and manage security via firewalls and access policies.
• Develop and execute backup and recovery strategies, performing regular tests to ensure data integrity.
• Automate routine administration tasks using shell, Python, or Ansible scripting.
• Troubleshoot Unix system issues and manage network services including SSH, SFTP, and DNS.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration.
• Hands-on experience with Red Hat Linux installation and configuration.
• Proficiency in Unix system troubleshooting and management.
• Experience with shell, Python, or Ansible for task automation.
• Knowledge of managing network services such as SSH, SFTP, and DNS.
• Experience implementing security measures, firewall management, and security policy configuration.
• Ability to develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures.
• Any Graduate degree.
