Description

You will manage the 24x7 availability of SAP systems running in SAP ECS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve alerts and incidents across Linux OS and infrastructure layers including VMWare, Azure, AWS, GCP, and Baremetal.
• Act as the L3 escalation point for production issues.
• Execute service requests following established change management processes.
• Automate standard operating procedures to streamline workflows.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional experience as a Linux Administrator.
• 5+ years of experience in public cloud administration with Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Advanced technical knowledge of Linux-based server operating systems, including OS operations, upgrades, and security patching.
• Proficiency in networking (TCP/IP, IP routing, NAT, firewalls) and managing network services (DNS, LDAP, HTTP proxies).
• Knowledge of IT security and OS hardening.
• Programming skills in Shell, Perl, Python, or Go.
• Experience with server automation tools such as Ansible or CHEF.
• Fluency in English.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing server operations in large-scale environments.
