Description

You will own driver development, porting, and integration for multi-core SoC platforms, ensuring stable board bring-up and kernel subsystem performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop, port, and integrate device drivers for hardware interfaces including I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, and USB.
• Execute board bring-up and perform hands-on debugging to resolve complex kernel-level issues.
• Conduct unit testing, bug fixing, and peer code reviews within Agile/Scrum workflows.
• Write and maintain technical documentation for kernel and driver implementations.

Required Skills

• 5 to 10 years of experience in Linux kernel development and subsystems.
• Deep understanding of Linux kernel internals and networking protocols.
• Hands-on experience with device driver development for I2C, SPI, RS232, RS485, and USB.
• Experience with u-boot, boot loaders, and Linux file systems.
• Proficiency with the Yocto Build system for image creation and customization.
• Skill in shell/Bash scripting for automation and tooling.
• Knowledge of Secure boot and cybersecurity concepts.

Preferred Skills

• Development experience with Qualcomm or i.MX7D Linux platforms.
