Description

You will develop, maintain, and mainline Linux kernel components and device drivers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate device drivers into the Linux kernel system.
• Configure device trees and manage interrupt handling.
• Implement synchronization mechanisms such as mutexes, semaphores, and spinlocks.
• Analyze and optimize time-critical modules for performance.
• Manage the kernel development lifecycle, including patching and mainlining.

Required Skills

• Strong foundation in C programming and Shell Scripting.
• Proficiency in Linux internals and kernel configuration.
• Experience with the Yocto build environment and cross-compile toolchains.
• Expertise in Git, including rebasing, commits, and patch creation.
• Experience configuring file operations and system calls.
• Familiarity with communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI).
• Experience with memory and power management in drivers.
• Minimum 5+ years of relevant development experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Touch/Display or Network/Wifi drivers.
• Familiarity with U-Boot, secure boot, and signing.
