Description

You will develop and maintain embedded Linux drivers and kernel-level software, handling bug fixes and upstreaming contributions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Linux kernel mode drivers for domains such as graphics, multimedia, power management, or display subsystems.
• Implement IPC and DMA drivers for embedded systems and debug complex system-level issues.
• Handle kernel bug fixes and contribute to the Linux community and open-source projects.
• Master new hardware technologies and drive driver development within specific technical domains.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in embedded systems development.
• Proficiency in C and C++ with an understanding of object-oriented design.
• Hands-on experience with Linux kernel and device driver programming.
• Experience with Yocto development and build systems.
• Knowledge of graphics stacks including OpenGL, OpenCL, and Mesa.
• Experience with multimedia frameworks like V4L2, GStreamer, VA-API, or VDPAU.
• Familiarity with display drivers such as X, Wayland, or Weston.
• Understanding of audio subsystems (ALSA SoC, I2S/TDM), power management, or virtualization (Xen, KVM, QNX).
• Experience with Ethernet/network driver development and strong system debugging skills.
