Description

You will develop and maintain embedded Linux device drivers, owning the full lifecycle from board bring-up to kernel stability. Your work includes implementing communication protocols, debugging complex kernel issues, and integrating user-space applications with middleware.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Implement and debug device drivers for I2C, SPI, UART, USB, CAN, MIPI CSI/DSI, and PCIe.
• Perform board bring-up, bootloader development, and kernel stability analysis.
• Debug system crashes, locks, and abnormal resets using JTAG, TRACE32, ICE, and oscilloscopes.
• Develop user-space applications and integrate middleware with low-level drivers.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in Linux device driver development.
• Strong expertise in C/C++ programming and OS concepts (multi-threading, IPC, synchronization).
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
• Experience with ARM 32/64 architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, JIRA, and Confluence.
• Knowledge of USB and SPI protocols.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Perforce, Code Collaborator, and Gerrit.
