Description

You will support and automate large-scale Linux infrastructure systems, managing hardware, OS internals, and configuration workflows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate infrastructure tasks using Puppet and Ansible.
• Manage OS upgrades, patching, microcode, and firmware updates.
• Debug network, OS, and kernel issues to resolve system performance bottlenecks.
• Maintain hardware including HPE DL Proliant, SuperDome, and IBM Power systems.
• Manage code and configurations using GIT and GitHub.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux environments.
• Deep knowledge of SuSE, Red Hat, and AIX.
• Understanding of OS internals and kernel debugging.
• Proficiency in Shell or Python scripting.
• Experience with configuration management via Puppet and Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with GIT and GitHub.
• Hardware experience with HPE DL Proliant, SuperDome, and IBM Power.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with KVM or VMware virtualization.
