Description

You will manage and automate large-scale Linux environments and containerized application deployments in Brooklyn, NY.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and troubleshoot Ansible playbooks for system automation and configuration.
• Deploy and maintain containerized applications and clusters within OpenShift environments.
• Manage Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems, including patching, subscription management, and security hardening.
• Optimize and secure virtualized environments using VMware.
• Perform performance tuning and troubleshooting for RHEL-based systems and virtual machines.

Required Skills

• At least 12 years of experience as a Linux Engineer.
• Proficiency in Ansible for system deployment and automation.
• Experience managing OpenShift architecture, security, and cluster maintenance.
• Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with VMware virtualization platforms.
• Knowledge of RHEL performance tuning and security hardening.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Percona database solutions including MySQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with Dialogic XMS architecture and multimedia service management.
• Proficiency with TimeKeeper for time synchronization using GPS, PTP, and NTP protocols.
