Description

You will manage and maintain Unix and Linux systems within a command-line environment. You will own the release pipeline and infrastructure stability.

Responsibilities

• Manage Unix storage structures including disks, volume groups, logical volumes, and filesystems.
• Configure and maintain Unix run levels for system startup and shutdown processes.
• Automate system tasks and infrastructure using Ansible and shell scripting.
• Handle network configurations such as IP addressing, subnets, routing, and gateways.
• Administer system permissions, ownership, groups, and cron jobs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux or Unix administration.
• Proficiency with Linux distributions, preferably RHEL.
• Strong command of Shell scripting (Korn shell, Cshell, or BASH).
• Experience with Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible for infrastructure as code.
• Expertise in Unix command line interface operations.
• Deep understanding of Unix storage and filesystem management.
• Knowledge of Unix networking and system configuration.

Preferred Skills

• Any graduate degree.
