Description

You will manage and administer Linux systems across physical, virtual, and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage Linux clusters, including Pacemaker and HACMP administration.
• Execute patch management for Linux Kernels and OS using Satellite, Capsule, and Spacewalk.
• Perform hardware installation, configuration, and firmware upgrades for P Series machines.
• Automate routine and complex jobs using Shell scripting.
• Maintain service level SLAs in accordance with client agreements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Linux and Linux cluster expertise.
• Proficiency in Shell scripting for automation.
• Experience with Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
• Hands-on management with Red Hat Satellite and Red Hat Portal.
• Experience with Solaris operating systems and Solaris cluster configuration.
• Knowledge of Client-UX upgrades and implementations.
• Experience with AIX server installation and HMC version upgrades.
• Working knowledge of Veritas volume manager.
• Hardware troubleshooting experience with Oracle and P Series machines.
