Description

You will manage and secure Linux-based edge devices in rail environments, automating provisioning and maintaining on-premise hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Automate server provisioning and box building using Ansible playbooks and roles.
• Configure device communication, virtualization, IP masquerading, and secure remote Chromium access via GPS data.
• Manage RedHat clustering and satellite server environments.
• Implement security controls using SELinux and firewalld.
• Maintain on-premise hardware and perform onsite testing.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Linux engineering.
• RedHat Enterprise Linux 7 and 8.
• RedHat Clustering and RedHat Satellite.
• Advanced VMware/vCenter knowledge.
• Ansible, Ansible Tower, or Ansible Automation Platform (writing roles and playbooks).
• Shell scripting including Bash, Ksh, YAML, and JSON.
• Advanced server networking concepts.
• SELinux and firewalld.
• Git and Terraform.

Preferred Skills

• Azure and IoT Hubs.
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux Edge and Ubuntu (EdgeFlow).
• F5, Packer, and Centrify/LDAP.
