Description

You will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Red Hat Linux operating systems and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers within Linux and virtualized environments.
• Monitor server health using manual processes and automated tools like Splunk and Ansible.
• Perform OS maintenance, upgrades, and software repository management.
• Develop automation tools and test frameworks to increase infrastructure efficiency.
• Maintain detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, and programs.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in scripting languages including Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl, or Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments.
• Solid understanding of configuration management tools, specifically Ansible.
• Experience installing and maintaining services such as Bind, Apache, MySQL, and Nginx.
• Knowledge of databases including Oracle, MS SQL, or DB2.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud computing.
• Experience with open-source application suites like WordPress or Drupal.
