Description

You will manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Red Hat Linux operating systems and infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain servers within a Linux environment.
• Monitor server health using automated and manual processes.
• Design and implement infrastructure monitoring and reporting tools using scripts, Splunk, and Ansible.
• Perform OS maintenance, upgrades, and software repository management.
• Develop automation tools and test frameworks to increase infrastructure efficiency.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience working with Linux operating systems.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Ansible, Python, Ruby, or Perl.
• Experience installing and maintaining services including Bind, Apache, MySQL, and Nginx.
• Hands-on experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments.
• Strong knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible.
• Experience with databases such as MS SQL, Oracle, or DB2.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to manage change requests and implement protective measures for system stability.
• Maintain technical documentation for procedures, configurations, and programs.
