You will design, implement, and manage complex Linux systems to ensure scalability and reliability across hybrid environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu systems, focusing on performance tuning and security hardening.
• Administer Red Hat Satellite Server for environment management, updates, and patching cycles.
• Execute storage migration activities using LVM, ASM, and Multipath, including IBM AIX integration.
• Automate infrastructure tasks and streamline operations using Ansible, Bash, Perl, and Python.
• Monitor system performance via Nagios and manage virtualized environments using VMware.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Linux engineering environments.
• Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu.
• Hands-on experience with IBM AIX.
• Strong scripting skills in Perl, Bash, and Python.
• Experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation.
• Knowledge of networking protocols and storage migration (LVM, ASM, Multipath).
• Experience with VMware administration.
• Competency with Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, and OpenShift.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
