Description

You will manage Linux-based platform administration, database environments, and containerized services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provision UAT and Production environments for Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Configure and maintain ActiveMQ, Docker, and Podman instances.
• Manage Apache httpd, reverse proxy setups, and ModSecurity/OWASP CRS tuning.
• Execute logical and physical backups using expdp/impdp, RMAN, or pg_dump.
• Troubleshoot system issues including networking, logs, and Java jar executions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Linux administration (RHEL, Rocky Linux).
• Proficiency with Oracle and PostgreSQL, including RAC, HA, DR, and standby configurations.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible playbook development and YAML.
• Solid understanding of SSH, NFS, and firewall configurations.
• Experience with Docker and container orchestration.
• Ability to use SQL and PL/SQL for data patches and record verification.
• Competency in shell scripting and log analysis.
• Basic networking troubleshooting skills using ping, traceroute, and nslookup.
• Knowledge of ActiveMQ setup and configuration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing Windows operating systems.
