Description

You will manage daily operations, maintenance, and security of Linux-based systems in a healthcare environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Linux servers and applications in highly available, scalable, and secure environments.
• Perform patching, system software updates, and hardware changes in accordance with change management policies to meet SLAs.
• Implement and maintain anti-virus for Linux systems using RPM and DEB packages.
• Manage system security access and perform root cause analysis for server issues.
• Analyze performance indicators to ensure efficient system operation and provide support for cloud environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing Linux-based servers and associated products.
• Hands-on experience running virtualized Linux systems within a VMware environment.
• Knowledge of VMware Tanzu platform.
• Experience with Azure or other cloud-based platforms.
• Proficiency with Tomcat and Apache.
• Working knowledge of DNS, SAN, WAN, and LAN networking.
• Ability to perform after-hours and weekend work as required.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within the healthcare industry.
