Description

You will design, implement, and maintain VMware vSphere virtualization infrastructure and Red Hat Linux environments while executing large-scale migration projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage VMware vSphere infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and vSAN.
• Configure virtual networks, storage, and integrations with Active Directory, DNS, and backup applications.
• Develop automation scripts for vSphere environments and manage disaster recovery planning and failover testing.
• Execute hardware and OS upgrades during virtualization migration projects.
• Evaluate network infrastructure to meet business needs and manage vendor relationships.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience managing Red Hat RHEL Operating Systems.
• Expertise in VMware vSphere, including vCenter Server, VMware View, and vMotion.
• Hands-on experience with storage products such as Dell, EMC, or Hitachi.
• Proficiency with SAN, NAS, CIFS, and NFS protocols.
• Experience with fiber channel switches, including Brocade and Cisco.
• Proven track record of executing P2V, P2P, and V2V migrations.

Preferred Skills

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or higher (VCAP, VCDX).
• Experience with KVM, Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization, or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of hypervisor security hardening techniques.
