Description

You will support and execute large-scale server migration projects, including physical and virtual infrastructure relocation. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage VMware ESXi environments, including vMotion, storage vMotion, and cross-site VM migrations.
• Configure, troubleshoot, and migrate iSCSI storage networks to ensure connectivity and performance.
• Develop automation tools to streamline migration workflows and ensure reliability.
• Collaborate with internal teams to assess readiness and deliver effective infrastructure solutions.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering or related field.
• Minimum four years of relevant experience in Linux system administration.
• Proven experience leading or participating in large-scale data center or server migration projects.
• Deep understanding of Linux OS internals and architecture.
• Hands-on expertise with VMware ESXi, including VM provisioning and migration techniques.
• Experience with iSCSI storage networking, multipathing, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
• Proficiency in Linux OS, VMware ESXi, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Openshift and Kubernetes in migration contexts.
