Description

You will manage Linux compute environments and lead large-scale data center and server migration projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and operate Linux-based compute environments with deep OS internals knowledge.
• Lead physical-to-virtual (P2V), virtual-to-virtual (V2V), and site-to-site migration projects.
• Manage VMWare ESXi and vSphere infrastructure, including host builds, provisioning, vMotion, DRS, and HA.
• Configure and troubleshoot iSCSI storage networking, multipathing, and LVM management.
• Automate system administration and migration tasks using Bash and Python.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in relevant roles.
• Expert-level VMWare ESXi and vSphere administration.
• Strong Linux OS internals and LVM expertise.
• Proficiency in OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Git, Maven, and Jenkins.
• Advanced networking knowledge (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, load balancing).
• Scripting proficiency in Bash and Python.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift CNV.
• Proven track record in structured migration timelines and maintenance windows.
