Description

You will manage and support large-scale, geographically-distributed Linux and UNIX infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and support servers from an OS perspective, including firmware and OS patching.
• Act as the escalation point for complex Linux troubleshooting and application team support.
• Design, document, and implement server administration policies, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
• Coordinate with monitoring and backup teams to ensure full system visibility and data protection.
• Perform regular server upgrades, repairs, and replacements based on performance reports.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience in Linux administration, configuration, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of Linux (all versions) and UNIX/Solaris.
• Hands-on experience with DNS, DHCP, and LDAP administration.
• Proficiency in infrastructure automation using scripting tools like Ansible, PowerShell, or Shell.
• Expertise in advanced troubleshooting techniques and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of UNIX security, hardening techniques, and patch management.
• Experience supporting large-scale, distributed infrastructure systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AIX.
