Description

You will manage Linux infrastructure security, server patch management, and system administration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the security of Linux infrastructure and server patch management services.
• Design, deploy, and maintain configuration management tools including Puppet and Ansible.
• Manage cluster activities including package builds, failover, failback, and disaster recovery setups.
• Develop standards and technical decisions regarding system and application changes.
• Research and resolve complex technical issues to provide practical solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of IT experience with extensive scripting in Python, JavaScript, sh/bash, and YAML.
• Proficiency with Puppet, Ansible, and Satellite.
• Experience with Oracle RAC clusters in Linux environments.
• Practical knowledge of Linux device files and creation.
• Experience deploying Linux-based virtualization technologies and applications.
• Hands-on experience with private, public, or hybrid cloud platforms.
• Strong Linux automation and kernel tuning experience.

Preferred Skills

• VMware experience.
