Description

You will manage, optimize, and secure Linux-based infrastructure to ensure system stability and scalability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Linux server installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades across Oracle, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Red Hat environments.
• Develop automation scripts using Bash, Python, and Ansible to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement security best practices, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.
• Design and test backup and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator, with significant time in a senior or lead role.
• In-depth knowledge of Oracle, CentOS, Ubuntu, and Red Hat operating systems.
• Proficiency in shell scripting and automation using Bash, Python, and Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or KVM.
• Knowledge of security principles including firewalls, encryption, and access controls.

Preferred Skills

• Relevant certifications such as RHCE, LPIC, or CompTIA Linux+.
