Description

You will architect, engineer, and deploy AWS and other infrastructure technologies within a mature enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal teams to configure and deploy AWS infrastructure using approved organizational technologies.
• Work with System Operations to develop self-service infrastructure provisioning, delivery pipelines, log, and monitoring services.
• Install applications and servers, including both physical and virtual types, alongside IT Operations Engineers.
• Monitor, fix, and improve infrastructure while managing alerting, backups, antivirus, and data mirroring.
• Update system documentation as required.

Required Skills

• 7 to 10 years of directly related experience in systems administration and engineering.
• Extensive knowledge of Linux server operating systems and Unix/Linux systems administration.
• Proficiency in Shell, Perl, and Python scripting for designing and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, specifically ECS, EC2, API, S3, and Lambda.
• Deep understanding of ports, protocols, routing, and switching in firewalled wide area networks.
• Experience with AWS Command Line Interface and general AWS architecture.
• Experience managing public cloud infrastructure.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with RHEL Satellite server and Puppet.
• Experience with the Atlassian Suite of products.
• AWS Certification.
