Description

You will support enterprise-scale, complex, and secure server estates across on-premise and AWS environments.

You will support Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) server operating systems at an expert level. Troubleshoot and investigate complex technical issues within the server estate. Manage physical datacenter operating environments and virtualization layers. Maintain system stability across clustering technologies and cloud infrastructures. Coordinate with stakeholders and manage third-party suppliers and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) server operating systems.
• Troubleshoot and investigate complex technical issues within the server estate.
• Manage physical datacenter operating environments and virtualization layers.
• Maintain system stability across clustering technologies and cloud infrastructures.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and manage third-party suppliers and vendors.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of industry experience in Linux administration.
• Expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL).
• RHCE certification.
• ITIL Foundation certification.
• Proficiency in Bash or Python scripting.
• Experience with VMware products and virtualization.
• Experience with AWS and public cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Oracle RAC and Veritas clustering technologies.
• Knowledge of Powerbroker and Chef.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with any additional enterprise clustering technologies beyond Veritas.
• Advanced scripting capabilities for automation beyond basic Bash/Python.
