Description

You will design, deploy, and support Linux-based systems and containerized environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Maintain and optimize Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and performance tuning.
• Configure Linux networking, routing, firewall rules, and security controls (IPTables).
• Partner with engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure reliable platform operations.
• Create technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system diagrams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Linux administration (Debian/Ubuntu and RHEL).
• Strong Bash and Python scripting skills.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
• Knowledge of KVM hypervisor virtualization and hardware management (iLO, LVM).
• Experience with SystemD services (NTP, DNS, Squid, NFS, Apache, MySQL).
• Understanding of system security, including security scanning tools (Qualys) and PKI.
• Working knowledge of k3s clusters deployed in Rancher/Fleet environments.
• Strong technical documentation abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git) and Ansible.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Experience with hybrid cloud platforms (OpenShift, OpenStack) or other hypervisors (Nutanix, VMware ESXi).
