Description

You will own system administration across Linux and HP-UX environments, managing OS lifecycles, storage, and clustering solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform OS installation, patching, upgrades, and security hardening on RHEL/SUSE.
• Manage Red Hat Satellite Server for patching and lifecycle automation.
• Configure and troubleshoot LVM, NFS, SAN storage, and cluster file systems.
• Implement clustering solutions, including RedHat Cluster and SUSE HAE.
• Provide L3 support for critical incidents and drive root cause analysis.

Required Skills

• 7–10 years of experience in Linux and HP-UX system administration.
• Strong expertise in RHEL 7/8/9, SUSE Linux, and HP-UX 11.x.
• Proficiency with Red Hat Satellite Server, LVM, clustering, and SAN/NAS storage.
• Advanced troubleshooting and performance tuning using tools like perf and strace.
• Strong scripting knowledge in Shell and Ansible.
• Experience with Linux on AWS and Azure.
• Familiarity with cluster environments like RedHat Cluster and SUSE HAE.

Preferred Skills

• RHCSA/RHCE or SLES certification.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.
