Description

You will develop and maintain core components of the Linux kernel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate device drivers into the overall system.
• Configure and customize device trees.
• Manage file operations and system calls within the kernel.
• Handle kernel configuration, interrupt management, and memory management in drivers.
• Analyze and optimize time-critical modules for performance.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in Linux kernel development.
• Strong foundation in C programming and shell scripting.
• Proficiency in the Yocto build environment and cross-compile toolchains.
• Expertise in synchronization mechanisms (mutex, semaphore, spinlocks).
• Proficiency in Git, including rebasing and commit management.
• Experience creating patches and managing kernel module mainlining.
• Knowledge of kernel internals, including power management basics.
• Experience with basic communication protocols (UART, I2C, SPI).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Touch/Display drivers or Network and Wifi drivers.
• Familiarity with U-Boot, secure boot, and signing.
