Description

You will develop and optimize low-level systems and kernel-space components.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain device drivers for storage, networking, or custom hardware.
• Implement and debug kernel networking subsystems and the TCP/IP stack.
• Diagnose and resolve kernel panics, oopses, and race conditions.
• Manage code changes and patch submissions using Git workflows.
• Optimize system performance using tracing and profiling tools.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in low-level systems development.
• Proficiency in C programming.
• Deep understanding of Linux kernel internals, including process scheduling, memory management, and file systems.
• Hands-on experience with RDMA technologies such as RoCE, InfiniBand, or iWARP.
• Experience with libibverbs and related networking APIs.
• Proficiency with debugging tools including gdb, ftrace, and perf.
• Experience with device driver development.
• Knowledge of virtualization.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with KVM, Xen, PCIe, DMA, and interrupt handling.
• Experience with Valgrind, SystemTap, ebpf, and real-time system performance tuning.
