Description

You will develop and maintain core components of the Linux kernel, including device drivers and system call management.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate device drivers into the overall system.
• Configure and customize device trees for hardware support.
• Manage file operations, system calls, interrupt handling, and memory management within the kernel.
• Analyze and optimize time-critical modules for performance.
• Create patches and manage kernel module mainlining.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in Linux kernel development.
• Strong foundation in C programming and shell scripting.
• Proficiency in the Yocto build environment and cross-compile toolchains.
• Expertise in synchronization mechanisms including mutex, semaphore, and spinlocks.
• Proficiency in Git, including rebasing and commit management.
• Knowledge of kernel internals, including power management basics.
• Experience with basic communication protocols such as UART, I2C, and SPI.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Touch/Display drivers or Network and Wifi drivers.
• Familiarity with U-Boot, secure boot, and signing.
