Description

You will design and deliver automated RHEL OS provisioning for on-prem and internal cloud environments, ensuring reliable, scalable infrastructure through automation and integration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Provision and manage RHEL OS installation, configuration, patching, services, networking, storage, and security.
• Build maintainable automation tools and workflows using shell scripting and Python.
• Implement scalable, idempotent configuration management using Ansible or equivalent platforms.
• Integrate OS provisioning with internal cloud services including virtualization, networking, identity, and monitoring.
• Apply Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles within CI/CD pipelines for automated validation and deployment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in platform, systems, or infrastructure engineering.
• Strong Linux (RHEL) administration expertise.
• Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible or similar configuration management tools.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server for cross-platform integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and IaC principles.
• Experience with Terraform and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• RHCSA, RHCE, or Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform certifications.
• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate or CKA.
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate or DevOps Engineer Expert.
