Description

You will secure UNIX/Linux systems through low-level C programming, network layer hardening, and automated script management.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure UNIX/Linux software using C.
• Implement network security protocols and hardening techniques.
• Write and maintain automation scripts in Perl.
• Integrate Kerberos authentication and enforce secure development practices.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and meet project deadlines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
• Strong proficiency in C programming for system-level development.
• Experience with UNIX/Linux network programming.
• Proficiency in Perl scripting.
• Solid understanding of security concepts and secure software development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Kerberos authentication mechanisms.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
