Description

You will secure UNIX/Linux systems through low-level C programming, network implementation, and script automation.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain secure software components using C for UNIX/Linux environments.
• Implement and manage UNIX/Linux network programming solutions.
• Automate security tasks and system administration using Perl scripting.
• Apply secure software development practices and troubleshoot complex system issues.
• Manage Kerberos authentication infrastructure and ensure compliance with security standards.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems.
• Strong proficiency in C programming for systems-level development.
• Deep understanding of UNIX/Linux network programming concepts.
• Advanced proficiency in Perl scripting for automation and tooling.
• Solid grasp of security concepts, including Kerberos authentication.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven ability to meet project deadlines in a structured environment.
