Description

You will lead the management and administration of Linux server environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and availability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Linux server administrators, providing technical expertise and mentorship.
• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of Linux server hardware and software.
• Implement security measures, patch management strategies, and compliance policies.
• Design and implement backup and disaster recovery solutions to minimize downtime.
• Automate server management tasks using scripting and automation tools.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in IT infrastructure with proven leadership of Linux server teams.
• Expertise in Linux operating systems including CentOS, Ubuntu, and Red Hat.
• Proficiency with automation and scripting using Bash, Python, and Ansible.
• Experience with server virtualization technologies such as KVM or VMware.
• Strong knowledge of server hardware, storage, and networking concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex server and infrastructure issues.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• IT experience within the banking industry.
